hApPy AnNiVeRsArY!!!!

We celebrated our 6 year anniversary. We went to 6 flags in California. I know, 6 years, 6 flags...I'm so funny. It was so much fun! We both share a love for a good adrenaline rush. I didn't take a ton of pictures because it was a pain to carry the camera with us. Although I did have it in my hand the whole time we were on Rodeo Drive, Malibu Beach, and certain parts of Santa Monica...but of coarse the celebrity's had better things to do than be chased by me. Ha! Thanks to my in-laws for taking the kids for 4 days. Happy Anniversary Jeremy, I love you!!

This ride was INSANE!! You start out sitting like you would normally in a chair, then they tilt you like this so you are facing the ground the whole time...oh ya!! I might of wet myself a few times.

My little man had his pre-school graduation the day we left. (for those of you who are judging me, we already booked the trip before the date for his graduation was set) He did so good, he memorized his part, and I am so proud of him! By the way, we are practicing how to roll our eyes in this picture.

Why eat the cereal when you can take it out and go straight for milk.

WARNING: please don't let your kidlets see this next one. I had to show this. Only in California would they have a lingerie shop with the mannequins posing like this. We just had to do a double take.

Til We Meet Again

On May 3rd, my Grandpa (mom's dad) passed away. It was bittersweet. I have such great memories of him, especially when I was little. I love you Grandpa. Till we meet again.

The grandson's were the pallbearer's. They put the casket on this carriage and rode to the cemetary...it was just down the street.

Some of my family rode their horses behind the carriage.

This is my Grandpa's horse. They tied it to the back and it followed them. My Grandpa's life was the country and his horses. He was always riding one. He had such a deep love and great respect for horses.

I wish I had a pic of him with me, I know I do somewhere. If I find one I will put it on here.

The mountains were his home, this is the place where he grew up. We will miss you Grandpa. xoxo!

Hippity Hop!

We had a great Easter. Of coarse the kids were hopped up on sugar all day long, plus no naps...fan-freakin-tastic!

We had a great day. Listened to a wonderful conference. Ate fabulous food. Good times people!

Me!

I stole this off my sister's blog. I'm sure I have much more interesting things to blog about, but this will have to do for now. People probably don't know a whole lot about me and the little things that I LOVE. Soooooooo, here are some of the worldly things that I can't get enough of.....oh, and I guess you can't use people, so really quick I love my kids, family and my husband. They are really the true loves of my life. Ha!

(side note: It probably would've been easier to take actual picture's of these things, but I didn't. Sorry they kind of suck. But you get the idea).

Hoodies. I will always have a weird obsession with them. Hot or cold weather, I'm wearing one. Super comfy and a must have. I'm sure you can imagine my closet.

Reese's peanut butter cups, and diet coke. If it were an option, I would be sitting here enjoying them through an IV.

Flip Flops. I'm a summer girl, hate winter, hate cold, love to be warm and tan. And this picture is me to a T.

Chapstick. Particularly Burts Bees. So great.

Running shoes and water. I have these together most days. There is something about water that is so simple and satisfying.

These movies...

and this show. I will never get bored watching them. Especially Will and Grace. If you've ever seen the episode with Kevin Bacon...enough said.

Being pregnant. There is just something about being pregnant that is fulfilling. I love it. Even being in labor and giving birth...such a miracle. (This is actually me. So unflattering, sorry. But in my defense, I gave birth 3 days later.)

Sarah McLachlan. I will forever and always love her. She is my favorite. I have all her cd's. Everyone should get them. She's a star.

Sleeping with my feet out of the covers. It's weird, but so awesome.

These are just a few things that I love. I have more, but who really has the time to read such a long post. Feel free to do the same and let us get to know you a little more!

3785/25/x-y-2x-3274+6614954/2y-x-5=????

Math is kicking my trash! It's funny really, when you don't do something for a long time and then when you are faced with it, it seems even MORE foreign. I thought for sure it would all come rushing back to me and I would be flying through most of it. Clearly I was wrong. When I first got there they made me take this placement test to see what level of math I was on. When I got done I went up to the instructor and as she was going over it she kept chuckling. I thought to myself, well yes, I'm sure it's amusing since I haven't been in school for like 6 years. Then she said, "it's funny because the ones you missed are the easy ones and the ones you got right are the hard ones" So apparently I'm good at long division and bad at subtracting. But she was nice, she let me fix them right there in front of her and I wasn't more than a number off on the ones I got wrong, I was just going to fast I guess. But still, math is so hard for me. It's the one class I never took in college. I guess I was saving it for last. Anyways, I give anyone out there who is good with numbers a huge applause. You're lucky that it comes so natural for you. Call me if you feel like tutoring me :)

Lot's and Lot's

Here are a few pics of my family the last couple months. We finally got settled in the house we are staying at. We got Internet today. Who knew how much I really would've missed that. Some of these pics are of our last week in SF.

Valentine flowers from my Valentine.

We are sending her to rehab.

This is what happens when you let Dad take him sledding down a cliff! Went right into the barb wired fence. Mom wasn't happy. Dad was fired.

Proof that Trey does like his sister.

A beach outside of San Fran. The waves were crashing and they sounded heavenly.

One thing I won't miss in California. Tunnels! They are so claustrophobic.

The gorgeous Golden Gate Bridge one last time.

Some beautiful scenery. Notice the tall round one with windows?? Yes, that is where Jake took Tenley on the Bachelor. It has a name, I'm just not sure what it is.

These are the most delicious donuts EVER!! They make them on the Wharf fresh right in front of you. And yes, I ate the whole bucket.

The famous Alcatraz.

The seals at the Wharf. They were all sleeping and quite frankly boring!

This one is for me. I love it that he sleeps with this monkey. When he goes to bed this little guy becomes his best friend.

Well there you go. We are glad to be back, we still miss a few things out there but not enough to go back.

No Such Luck!

There are a few things I've learned since we've been back, but the one that keeps nagging at my brain all the way to my inner core is how important health insurance is. It really doesn't take a genius to know just how vital it is to be covered but since we moved here I defiantly can appreciate it more. It usually takes 90 days to get on insurance unless you get a plan that you can get on in 30 days and just pay monthly. This is what we are currently doing until we can get on with his work, but yes, we still had to wait 30 days for this one. Well of coarse all sorts of fun things have happened in the meantime...

- Jeremy had to have his toe looked at for an in-grown toenail, and it was partially removed.
- Trey had strep throat...and they sent it down to get cultured again just to be sure.
- I thought Avery had it the next day, turns out I was wrong, but they ALSO sent it to get cultured again just to be sure.
- Avery needs her 15 month check-up
- I need my yearly
- Avery is tugging at her ears and crying all the time, take her in, turns out she is just a drama queen:)
- Trey has been going to the bathroom every 5 min, so I took him in to get checked and of coarse everything was negative, but she then requested an x-ray...my heart sank, but I had to know myself that he was fine. Turns out to be a backed up colon:)

All of this has happened since we've been back...Jan 20, so in a month I have really racked up the medical bills. The kids were still covered on California insurance, but they do not accept it here. The co-pays alone ($75) are enough to make you slap someone then go cry in the corner, but I would rather know my kids are healthy than sit and not know how bad it's getting. Some good news you ask?? Well, some people in my parents ward just moved to Japan for his job and we are fortunate enough to get to house-sit for them while they are away (about 2 years). So I guess the medical bills will get paid off sooner than later. We are very blessed that this opened up for us so that we can also pay off Jeremy's semester in school. It will be great to get into our normal routine again and also to have the kids sleeping in their own rooms! I have a lot of fun pics of my family, but I will have to post them when we get our computer set up, so you get this one. Me and my sister Mary on the farm. We're awesome.

This is my whole family. Shane, me, Mary, my mom, my dad, and my brother Reggie. I don't think I've ever put a pic of them up. Probably the funnest family ever!
