Leaving The Nest

Trey went back to Miss Bambi's Preschool last week. He had such a good time last year that he couldn't sleep the night before because he was so excited. He is full of stories the minute I pick him up about all the things that he did. I can't believe how grown up he is this year. Last year I had to walk him into the class and help him settle in the first few weeks because he was nervous and shy. Not this year. He hopped out the car and ran in. I had to hurry and grab him just to get a picture. We are so proud of you Trey!

Trey and Taytem. He loves having his cousin at school with him.

We went camping over Labor Day. Of coarse what would be camping if we didn't catch snakes?! Seriously, this girl was in heaven!

And of coarse she had to love it...and kiss it. (I may or may not have wet myself when she did that)

I think total they had like 15 snakes, and 12 frogs.

These two are trouble. They have a love/hate relationship with eachother.

The first day Jeremy was golfing in the morning so I had the kids. Of coarse Trey decided he was going to catch a snake for his Dad. And of coarse he had to find the first one on the day Jeremy wasn't there to help him grab it. Who was there?? Oh yes, me! So I grabbed the little sucker and wet myself the whole time I was running to find a bucket of some sort. Trey thought I was pretty cool. I hope he didn't hear me drop a few f-bombs while I was running with it ;) This is me with my awesome catch. (ok, I know he's a tiny one but come on, a snake is a snake no matter what the size)

We had a great time. The kids had so much fun. Can't wait for fall though!!

Ok, and on a different note, does anyone think this is the scariest Mcdonald's toy ever??!! I mean seriously, what the crap is it?

End of Summer

My favorite time of year is Fall, so I'm really not that upset that it's about over. Last year I was in Cali for Fall and it was like 70 degrees in October with no colorful mountains or leaves changing on the trees...now THAT was sad! Here are the latest events from August:

Weber County Fair. Avery wet herself every time she saw an animal. She got a hold of one of the baby goats by the neck and just hugged it until it couldn't breathe. I don't think she knows that she's an animal lover/killer.

We went camping up at Lava Hot Springs. Lot's of fun. The kids played their hearts out.

The power went out, so what better to do than play games and let your 4 yr old roast marshmellows and almost burn the house down...jk, it was supervised.

And in case you're wondering, you can NOT cook a squash in the microwave, even if you poke lots of holes in it.

Old Lady

I turned 28 on the 27th, you might as well hand me some crochet hooks, and give me a rascal. Jk, I had a great day/week! Jeremy took me to Park City. We shopped, ate food, went down the slides, and had a great time! We also went to the parade on the 24th, and then camping. These pics are in no order because let's face it, I'm to old now to sit here and be that diligent.

I had class the night of my birthday, but when I came home, Jeremy and the kids had made this for me. Every mom needs one of these.

Camping in the meadow. Trey and Payzlee spent the entire time in the river looking for any kind of bug, animal, snake, whatever they could get their hands on. Thank goodness for that little girl, Trey needs someone to get dirty with.

Park City. We took the kidlets with us, Trey loved the slides and so did Ave. We lied and said she was 2 so that she could ride it, hee hee.

Avery found a worm at the parade and she could've cared less about anything else.

This is our little Diva Talia. She is a doll!

We've had the girls up to sleep over...

and we've had friends come and join us for lunch. (those are dead grasshoppers, they're Avery's)

And we went to see Tory Story 3 in 3D. So cute, the cutest one I think. Avery even liked it, she sat still all the way until the last 45 min, then she crashed.
We have a ton more stuff happening. Stay tuned!!

Big Fat Blog Slacker!

We really have been doing alot of fun things lately, I just would rather relax after doing them instead of blogging. The summer is always crazy busy for us, we are constantly on the go. But to sum things up, Trey got his tonsils out in June, he did great! The recovery was speedy, and he was back to normal in no time. We went to St. George for the 4th and had a blast!! The kids were at such a fun stage this year. Avery wasn't walking last year so she was crawling all over the place, eating sand, crying to be held...not fun. Trey was in little boy heaven finding frogs, lizards, cockroaches, dead crawfish on the beach. Avery and Payzlee were the only ones that would be "boys" with Trey and touch them. Avery loved them a little too much (just think of the movie Of Mice and Men, she was Lenny) The kids went swimming everyday. We ate good food. We love summer!

We went to St. George days on the 4th, and it was so much better than Ogden's. It was centered around little kids, and my kids were in heaven!

Avery got right back into her routine when we got home. I'm sure Halo had a nice break from her climbing on her, pulling her hair, and trying to ride her.

Birthday Festivities!

Trey celebrated his 4th birthday on the 1st. Grandma Chambers and Dad rode the Front Runner to the Gateway and let Trey build his own bear, Grandma takes the kids to do this when they turn 4. The train however, was his favorite part. We had a family party on the 6th. Trey got a trampoline and a swing set for his birthday and had a wild time with his cousins. He got an Optimus Prime cake, and Pinata (we are still loving Transformers) and his very first bike!
